(trad.) Last summer I and some of my fellows met Elina Kykyri at Kaustinen Folk Festival. She is a native Kaustinen born singer (that means she can handle and understand folk music much deeper than a normal, non-Kaustinen-born finn). I was fashinated by her voice and asked if she would like to do maybe a CD with my help. Luckily she said yes. So far she has sent me a few of these traditional Finnish ballads. Afterwards I add instruments and make arrangements to them. This is the first of them. -- Jore

This is way too good to be on here! Sounds like Elina knows what she is doing! The arrangement sounds great too. How come I only get a banjo for Gerald and this has 3 guitars and percussion? Lovely - I feel kind of humble to have Gerald The Spider to be the track before this - I wonder what Elina will feel.... -- Davy
